PLEASE READ THESE ENROLMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR LEARNING (OR YOUR CHILD’S) WITH LEADERS OF OUR FUTURE, LTD


Leaders of our Future, Ltd (LOF) Enrolment Terms & Conditions

LOF and its candidates are respectful of others and committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment allowing all members to grow personally and professionally.

We ensure all students and teachers feel welcome and included which is the responsibility of the students as well as the LOF team.

To help new and existing members keep this a great space we have a set of Rules and Code of conduct for our courses.

On registering for a course with LOF, you agree to the Terms of Use which include an outline of the Rules which all users must abide by.


Please read below to fully understand:

  • The expectations of you as a member (parent, student or tutor)
  • What we do, and don’t, stand for
  • How we enforce these guidelines


Code of Conduct

  • Be welcoming, kind and inclusive
  • Be respectful and accepting of others’ views, experiences, boundaries and opinions. Even      when disagreeing, please show respect.
  • Be supportive, positive and encouraging of others.
  • Be constructive. We actively encourage positive debate and discussion and accept and encourage differing opinions but do not accept confrontations or bullying of any kind.
  • Attendance:
    • Attendance of all sessions and punctuality is expected- lateness may result in inability to       attend the session- Please note the course is non-refundable
    • Ensure any breaks are discussed with tutors and agreed 
    • Ensure if unable to attend a session, that this is shared as early as possible
    • Ensure that if taking annual leave, this is shared as early as possible
    • Students may be removed from the course subject to the tutor’s discretion, for failure to comply with the code of conduct
  • Bullying and harassment  - We operate a zero-tolerance approach to any bullying and harassment, hence any student found to be bullying or harassing another individual will be subject to removal from the session or full removal from the course at the discretion of the course tutor and LOF leadership
    • All to promote a bullying and harassment free learning environment
    • It is not possible for LOF to deal with allegations in classroom settings and hence this will be       referred back to their respective parents and school establishment (if they have booked through school) 
    • Malicious complaints- where an allegation has been found to be made maliciously and there is  evidence to substantiate this, LOF retains the right to remove students from the course.
    • The below behaviours may fall in the category of bullying:
      • Ridiculing or humiliating others
      • Shouting and screaming at others
      • Singling out another person by excluding, isolating or ignoring 
      • Gossiping, spreading rumours and humiliating others
      • Physical violence of any form
    • The below behaviours fall in the category of harassment:
      • Insults/name calling and offensive language and gestures
      • Inappropriate jokes or comments about a person, including their appearance
      • Inappropriate or unnecessary physical contact
      • Physical assault or threats of assault
      • Unwelcome sexual advances
      • Intrusive questions  about another person’s private life
      • Offensive images and literature
      • Pestering, spying and stalking


Rules

  • GDPR- LOF is fully compliant with GDPR, ensuring personal data of both students and tutors is      safe, protecting the privacy of children, young people and their families.  All personal data and recordings of sessions are stored securely, following data protection regulations and preventing unauthorised access to any personal or sensitive information, maintaining a high standard of      confidentiality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.
  • DBS- Full and regular DBS will take place to ensure the safety of students and adherence to a robust child protection policy. Tutors are accountable and must report concerns and exercise appropriate behaviour during online/face to face sessions and maintain a safe learning environment. LOF takes the welfare of students seriously and will ensure all checks are fully completed and tutors have valid enhanced DBS certificates in place ahead of any LOF teaching      sessions taking place.
  • All parents are required to confirm once payment commitment is made that they have full      responsibility to ensure their respective children follow the above code of conduct
  • One has to confirm that they are at least 18 years of age and possess legal parental or guardian      consent to enrol a child into any LOF course – this confirmation is provided through the LOF learning portal upon registration of a child
  • All parents acknowledge  that LOF reserves the full rights in cancelling your course if any of the      rules/code of conduct are not adhered to or violated. The course fee will be withheld in such a situation. LOF holds no responsibility or liability in cancellation of any course sessions due to Tutor availability/sickness.  However, full consideration for offline course information to ensure      student remains on track will be given.
  • LOF has full autonomy to change scheduling of courses due to capacity, however full communication  and details will be provided for suitability for future events.
  • Child’s class schedule, notes from the tutor, homework assignments etc are all communicated through the secure LOF learning portal, and it is the parent and student’s responsibility to confirm their ability to access this portal, by registering for parent and student user accounts
  • Class attendance, class participation and home assignments are core components of LOF’s course assessments – failure to attend the class sessions and/or complete the course assignments can result in withholding of the LOF course completion certificate. In the case of an unavoidable absence, parents must get in touch with their child’s tutor in advance of the scheduled class, using the LOF portal.  Where possible, the tutor will provide course content for offline completion.
  • Tutors will get in touch with the parent through the LOF portal if there are any concerns about their child’s performance in the course.
  • Course payment is due in full before the first class of the course, and failure to complete the payment may result in my child being dropped from the course
  • Once a course is booked and payment is confirmed, it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility that      the student attends all sessions. LOF hold no responsibility for sessions missed by the student, or late attendance. Enrolment is non-refundable hence complaints with regard to this will be handled with a strict zero tolerance policy.
  • Complaints are to be sent to enquiries@leadersofourfuture.com and dealt with in 14 working day period including acknowledgement. 


In the case of online classes:

· Online classes are conducted using Microsoft Teams, and it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their child has access to the technology (computer, internet browser that can access Microsoft Teams meetings and/or Microsoft Teams application, microphone, speakers, camera) and access to a quiet space to enable their attendance and class participation

In the case of in-person classes:

· Parents are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions or safety considerations (such as allergies) to LOF management and the class tutor and understand that if you do not, LOF will not be able to take account of such conditions or considerations

· Personal property which a child may bring into LOF classes is brought at their own risk and LOF cannot take responsibility for it
