Teen Leadership ProgramME: Inspiring the Leaders of Tomorrow

13 years and above (15 months course)-Leadership, Resilience, and Self-awareness

Today's teens need more than just good grades; they also require confidence, critical thinking, emotional awareness, and collaboration skills. Our Teen Leadership Program helps young people reach their potential through engaging experiences. 


Students will actively develop self-awareness, master various leadership styles, enhance their problem-solving skills, cultivate resilience, and acquire essential skills for both academic and personal success. Upon completion of all 4 modules, students will achieve a "Level 2 Young Leaders Award" from the Institute of Leadership and Management*. 


Course Delivery

The course takes place weekly throughout the academic term. You can choose between in-person and online classes. Learning is active and engaging, with a focus on practical experiences rather than textbooks. 

Students participate in:

  • Real-life scenarios to apply leadership and decision-making skills
  • Group projects to foster teamwork and inclusive thinking
  • Reflective exercises/Simulations to build self-awareness and intention
  • Case studies to gain problem-solving and analytical skills


Progression 

This qualification will provide progression opportunities to other ILM qualifications, such as: 

  • ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management Award  


Plus, they will support and enhance the completion of other established recognised pathways such as: 

  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award 
  • GCSEs, A Levels or NVQs 
  • Community or Junior Sports Leaders Awards Level 1 or 2 


*There is a one-off ILM registration fee, that is included in the first module's course fees.

The modules in the UK region follow an academic timetable divided into four school terms. The first module will begin in Autumn 2025, and classes will be held on a weekly basis. 


The fee for the first module includes a non-refundable registration fee of £60 for ILM. This is a one-time cost, and the fees for the remaining three modules will be lower than those for the first module.

This course empowers students to take charge of their academic and personal lives by developing self-leadership and self-awareness.  


Through hands-on activities, reflections, and real-world examples, students will learn how to lead themselves with confidence and responsibility. 


They will explore their personal values, understand how their behaviour affects others, and build skills to set meaningful goals, stay motivated, and adapt to challenges.

This course is designed to equip students with the vital skills necessary to conquer academic challenges and drive personal growth. Through a powerful blend of critical analysis, innovative problem-solving, and resilience-building techniques, students will learn to tackle problems with confidence, adaptability, and a positive mindset. 


These skills will empower learners to excel, lead, and achieve success both academically and personally.
